CUIIC Safety Academy Awards 7 Student Scholarships to Attend 2023 Event

Edmonton, Alberta — The Canadian Underground Infrastructure Innovation Centre (CUIIC) is thrilled to announce that, thanks to the generous sponsorship of Cooper Trench Safety, seven deserving students have been granted the unique opportunity to attend the 2023 CUIIC Safety Academy at no cost.

This year's CUIIC Safety Academy, scheduled for November 29-30, 2023, in Edmonton, Alberta, promises an enriching experience for attendees. The event will feature a comprehensive two-day course led by safety experts, focusing on underground construction safety, regulations, challenges, and innovation. The Academy aims to equip participants with invaluable knowledge while providing a platform to learn from seasoned professionals in the field.

The sponsorship from Cooper Trench Safety has allowed the planning committee to select seven outstanding students who will benefit from complimentary registration. This gesture not only fosters educational opportunities but also underscores the commitment of industry leaders to invest in the next generation of professionals.

The 2023 CUIIC Safety Academy is a collaborative initiative between the Canadian Underground Infrastructure Innovation Centre (CUIIC) and Benjamin Media Inc. (BMI). The event will cover a wide range of topics, addressing pressing issues and presenting the latest policies related to underground construction safety.
